Hmmm... throw out my response if it doesn't qualify...
I've had a Spanninga SPxba on an SKS P50 fender for over a year and
over 3000 miles... and another over 6months and over 2000 miles... all
weather... both still function perfectly
Now those are *battery* lights (so, I'm assuming actually
a. my Fargo has a PDW FenderBot on Planet Bike fenders. Been there
since the fall. Lots of dirt road riding.
b. it's battery, so no wires.
c. the Hillborne has a light attached to a front rack. My LHT has the
light on the fork crown without a front rack for protection. Both
bikes have fenders.
I have a Spanninga SPXb that has been mounted on a rear plastic fender
since 2006. It is the second set of fenders. I have done over 10,000K of
randonneuring events, plus probably an equal number of training miles,
and it is still in good shape.

I'm insanely jealous of your morning ride. The weather looks
beautiful. While we don't have more than a few inches of snow on the
ground here in lovely Iowa, it did rain yesterday, which has made
everything a catastrophically frozen mess.
As a side note, I think you've persuaded me to keep my
Swapped out the Bullmoose bars for these Sycip Singles Bar, found my
old Specialized branded Dirtdrop stem. This bar is so much more
versatile and comfortable than the Bullmoose bars I could never get
my
hands comy on them, I figure it had to do with the fixed rear-upward
angle.

I havent tried the Albatross bars. To me the Singles Bar is comfy. You
would have to do a side by side comparison. I ride with gloves and am
comfy for 15 miles plus no problem. I havent really ridden it much
further distance wise. The bars have more give than the Bullmoose bars
thats for sure.
