The way I go is alongside 24 until you hit the bike path that is right ALONGSIDE 24 but it is a bike path. That gets you up to Orinda, where I usually cut over (south, right) on Camino Pablo to Wildcat, over Inspiration Point and drop into North Berkeley on Spruce. On Google Maps if you push
