Have you tried changing the brake pads? How do the current ones look? Change the toe-in? Brake bolts are all snug? What about the rims? Have you tried cleaning/degreasing them? Fork crown-mounted cable stop is a good suggestion. I just switched from Tektro CR720 to Shimano CX70 on my Hunqapilla

The brakes (singles) on my 2 Riv fixies, both single pivots with Matthausers or salmon Kool Stops, suddenly started squealing this winter and no matter of cleaning pads or rims helped. It went away as soon as riding temperatures rose above 50*F. Very odd; it didn't happen last winter. On Wed, May
