Lone Peak clips are really well made. I prefer them to any of the
over-complicated ones on Arkel/Ortlieb/etc.
BTW they moved to Washington state a few years ago.
The two tabs can also be attached to a Nitto Mini with a strut for more
support. No hoop required!

Yeah they are sure are pretty and I don't need them either. The bike I tour
with on the mainland isn't a Riv and already has lowriders up front.
Locally I don't need to carry a lot for camping so they'd be overkill.

A "Silver Groupo" would certainly have some appeal and some hurtles. As
Grant points out, deraillers would be one. I think a collaboration with
IRD or Cane Creek could overcome that hurdle. Something between "branding"

Wool underneath, ventile on the outside. Nylon works too, but it has to be
breathable and windproof. Depending on what temps you're used to, just the
wool or just the shell works for warmer. Still not enough? Add thicker

What is a good way to protect the knees and thighs from the wind in winter?
Here's my deal, and why I need something to protect my knees and thighs
during winter riding.
Last winter, while riding 30-60 degrees F, about 30 miles into rides, my
upper thighs started to get tight and feel funky.
Something interesting to me .. As photographed 23lbs. 60/61 cm forget which.

My first Rivendell frame is for sale! I bought a 61cm Homer from a fellow
list member a month or so back, and this sale is the result of a year of
