I would have to agree, both of those weights look very optimistic. My
lightest steel bike is a 54cm Della Santa made with very lightweight OS
tubing, full Campy Record 10-speed group, Ti stem and seatpost, Speedplay
pedals, and non-leather seat with Ti rails, yet it is just under 20 lbs.
For sale: Rivendell Atlantis 56cm. Outfitted with a Chris King headset
bottom bracket (purchased from Riv, whatever they recommended).
