Your problem may not be the one I experienced just a bit ago, but I popped the stays out of my clips a month or 2 ago when installing my 65s, and found that I could "not" get the stays back in place. Went online; scuttlebutt was: "shove 'em hard." Shoved; perhaps used pliers for better grip --
