Hey Riv community,
A friend had her 57cm Bleriot stolen today in the Outer Sunset in San
Francisco. Please be on the look out for suspicious sales. Pictured as below
but the front basket had been swapped out for a saddle sack. She’s an essential
worker and the Bleriot is an essential
Well that is utterly charming. Thanks for posting a photo!

Here are XT BR-M780 calipers on an Appaloosa, over Antelope Hill 55mm tyres
plus VO fenders. The fenders are ~15mm above the tyre, so without fenders
you could fit around a 70mm tyre without fouling the cable. The travel
agent matches the cable pull with drop bar levers:

It will in fact work and yes you will drive yourself crazy trying to keep
track of all this. Shadow is just a designation for an mtb mech that sits
flush so you (supposedly) won't crash it on rocks, Riv sold the XT772
Shadow for years. I've gotten them to index 9-speed bar-ends and 10-speed
So I'm kinda late to this party, and I don't think I have a complete
understanding of relatively recent Shimano der/shifter compatibility, but I
don't think the RD-M772 Shadow rder shown here will index properly with
Shimano downtube shifters, and even in friction mode the dt shifter cable
Leah: What a beautiful frame. What a beautiful color. Love your videos.
Congratulations!

I would really like to see a photo, please! As I'm not a Bleriot owner
(yet?) I won't buy it, but what a great gift idea!

Got the bike? Get the plane!
Offered for sale is this high quality due-cast model of Louis Blériot in his
eponymous monoplane, looking as though he’s flying over the English Channel.
Perfect for the Bleriot owner who has everything (except a scale model of the
Bleriot plane).

You
I've used the Pro 5 Vis model on many bikes for years and have found them
strong, light, and elegant, with narrow Q. Two problems: the older ones
have a small space between inside of arm and outside of big ring; you have
to be careful with derailleur choice and setup. I think those made in the

Hi Bill,
I am definitely interested in the Cheviot but I am also curious about what
they other bike is/will be? You mentioned you will be selling a couple
bikes.
thanks

I have put around 5000km on my Rene Herse cranks, I've no complaints about
them. The main pro's for me are the light weight, variety of chainring
combinations available, and the good looks. They seem plenty stiff but I'm
not putting down big watts or anything. The main downside to both of these
BTW, This bike is still sitting in the shed. It has been a crazy year and i
havent thought about it much. $1800 plus shipping via bike flight plus
packing. Delivery is possible along the eastern seaboard in the
Thanksgiving timeframe. more pics available to serious inquirers
On Thursday,
Absolutely beautiful. I am so jealous. The pictures made my morning and I
can't wait to see the finished build.

Igor, did you figure out what to go with? I am running into an issue with
adding fenders to my Hubbuhubbuh--even the Shimano DXR MX70 that Riv sells
(sold out) and I have on my Susie are 110, and there is still lots of room
to bring the fenders in to the frame and away from the fender/tire,
What a great looking frame!!!
So many terrific details.
I've had my Sam only 2.5 months now but still enjoy looking at the details of
it while taking a break mid-ride.
Grant is among the best with the small details.
Such a cool headbadge!
Congratulations!
I hope you enjoy many wonderful
What are the pros and cons of each crank set. Any one have experience with
either? How do they compare to one another if the use was for gravel
exploring / road riding.

Worn once, I do not like the big pad. Louis Garneau Padded liner, size
large, too big for me too, I probably needed a small or medium. Black with
red liner. I think shipping would be $7.75 in a priority envelope.

It's beautiful! Even better seeing it with the smile on your face. You
couldn't have picked a prettier color. And, the metallic! It must *really
*bling, because I can see the metallic even in the pictures and videos.
I'm looking forward to when everything is assembled and you can ride it.
Leah, watching your joy while unwrapping that beautiful new Platypus made
my dreary, rainy Pittsburgh morning a little brighter. It even made my
coffee taste better!
Congratulations...now start enjoying the build up process.
