Thanks; I've thought of these. Questions: Does the system materially increase Q? Is the MKS spd pedal anywhere near as good as mid and upper level Shimano SPDs -- PD540, XT, XTR? Actually, ~$275 for MKS SPDs and Urbans and shipping isn't too bad, but only if the MKS spds are good pedals. Thanks

That's too bad about your seller. Seems odd. If you can't find the proper mount, a Pauls thumbie will function. Rivendell brought out the levers before the mounts. I bought a pair & got them to work with Pauls to hold me over until the Rivendell mounts came out. It worked, but not as well
