I used a 32R on my 58 cm Atlantis but had to space it up with a couple of little extender goodies. IIRC Rivendell spec'd the 33R for 58 & up Atlantis & the 32R for 56 & smaller. In those days, the 58 & up had 700c wheels & the 56 & smaller were on 26" wheels. Sounds like a call to Rivendell

Rivendell said today that they have a few Platys they are releasing for sale. A 50 cm demo and several 60s in both colors, I think. After the Bike Snob waxed poetic about how great his Platypus is (also 60 cm) I bet they will be gone soon. https://bikesnobnyc.com/2021/07/23/new-outside-column-8/

The Shimano brake levers for my 8 speed Shimano IGHs also incorporate the two position cable pulls. The left is just a brake lever, the right incorporates the IGH shifter and quadrant. Got them from Peter White. Laing On Friday, July 23, 2021 at 5:18:34 PM UTC-4 dougP wrote: > Philip: > > If t

Philip: If they work so well that you'd forgotten about them, call it success. Tektro makes a lever with a clever piece where you hook up the cable. It allows 2 locations. The long pull works with V-brakes & the short pull with others. During my bout of brake-itis, I learned that the pivot

Are these in fact compatible with both V-brakes (long-pull) and cantilevers (short-pull) as it indicates in the description on the Amazon site? That is usually not the case, but on rare occasions I have seen dual compatibility built into the lever. I'm alway suspect of the descriptions given
