Hi Kim, I've squeezed in a Schwalbe G-One Speed (no knobs) at 27.5x2.35 which measures out to 60mm on the stock rims. There's about 5mm of clearance on each side. The tires have to be deflated to clear the brake pads when removing the wheel. --Ed C. On Monday, June 19, 2023 at 7:30:04 PM

I had my 51 650b Joe setup as a mostly road/dirt touring bike for a couple years, and it has gone through many iterations since then (currently living life as a 1x9 flatland commuter). Is it a road race bike? No. Is it a fun bike to ride on the road and connect the many dirt trails/roads/etc.
