Hey everyone, thanks so much for the quick response, kind offers and
smart suggestions. The Seattle Riv contingent (SRC?) came to the
rescue!
It's good to know that I don't really need it though. I'll definitely
putting a drop of blue Loctite on the replacement, as well as the
other one. Man, I
Right on!

Go for the Atlantis. You'll be delighted with its enduring design,
good looks, durability, agility, and practicality. Nuthin' slow or
sluggish about 'em.
Here's a story on my Atlantis:

Lots of Atlantis
Rode w/ 11lbs of bird seed in the front basket of my Atlantis last
Sunday, through the snow for that matter. No problem. I believe the
convenience and practicality of having a basket/bag up front
(especially during a brevet) far out weighs any nominal changes in
handling.
My advice is just to
Resurrect my original 1986 Ritchey Timbercomp by adding an Xtracycle
to it.

So, blognetnews was a terrific blog aggregator for cycling-related

Would anyone out there happen to have the list of blogs that were on

It's a long shot, but I'm hopeful

While perhaps seemingly not as exotic as some of those other places, I
urge you not to underestimate the mindblowingly high-quality riding
and adventure Maui has to offer. Maui is not just touristy beaches and
golf. There's great backcountry stuff there; hikes and waterfalls
galore. The riding
Thanks everyone. Travis' explanation really describes it well. And
Seth's and Phillip's photos really helped. I already have the tandem
cables and housing on order, so as soon as they arrive, I'll get
crackin' on the Atlantis.

The Atlantis is an incredibly versatile machine. If you're ever going
to ride it in the snow w/ wide rims, like 45mm SnowCats, go w/ the
Atlantis instead of the SH. If you don't live anywhere near snow and
snow-packed winter trails, then the SH is probably the ride for you.
Here are some photos
Great looking Atlantis, Ken!

The SnowCats really, really flatten out the profile of the tire.
You're going to love them!
Granted, they won't magically transform your Riv into a Pugsley, but
nonetheless, it'll be a breathtaking experience for you!
Here are some shots of my Atlantis w/ SnowCats on.

Hi Doug!
Thanks.
I vow to take some new, new photos this spring/summer to send to
Cyclofiend's website. I've been dragging my feet on that for far too
long.
Anyway, the basket is the Rivendell/Wald small. It's a great fit. And

Hi David,
You know...it really wasn't too difficult to freshen up the chain-suck
