Weight considerations aside, are there any real and perceivable by a
normal rider differences between the two versions? Does anyone have any
experience to tell if the Liteskin rides significantly plusher than the
regular one?

I believe the same is accomplished by adding a leather mud guard to a
metal fender. I've done that on my Atlantis with Berthoud fenders and
I get excellent protection from splashes and also dirt and dust. My BB
shell now stays clean. The tradeoff is I cannot hop off curbs but

That is correct. No decaleur is needed. The straps to the handlebar
make it very stable.

The Acorn Boxy Rando Bag doesn't strap to the top of the bar. It's
lateral strings go to the bottom section of the drop on your drop bars
by the barend shifters. They work equally well with M bars. Not sure
about Albatross bars.

FWIW, I run the same tires on Dyad rims with no looseness and no issues.

Just in case you want to use that light on the Nitto Big Rear Rack, Peter
White sells the metal bracket that allows you to do it. That's what I use
for a similar light on my Atlantis with its currently Nitto R-14 rear rack.

Khalid,
I remember how much I struggled to choose the color of my Atlantis, but here
is my story... :-)
When I went to Walnut Creek the very first time to see for myself what the
Rivendell concept was all about, they had me test ride a Homer, an Atlantis
and a Sam. I hated the Atlantis color on
Hi all,
I know the Sugino crank set that Riv and VeloOrange sell comes in 24/34/46
and 26/36/48 configurations; I have the first one on the Atlantis and the
second one on the Homer. Do these cranks also take a more roadie 30/40/53 or
similar configuration? If so, which rings should I get and
I like those panniers. What are they? The color touch is very nice too.

Based on my personal experience, the choice between the 58 and 61 frames will
really come down to the desired effective distance to your handlebars for your
own personal fit. I'm 5'11 and my saddle height is 79cm, which means id be at
the top recommend range for the 58 or in the middle for the

although some people think it is kind of cheap that they have that plastic

that the plastic has cracked during the riding
Detail differences assessed when I ode red mine last year are as follows:
- Slight color difference. The Waterford is just slightly livelier
with a spark that the Toyo lacks. The Toyo is a bit more matte; very
subtle but noticeable only when doing a side by side comparison.
Otherwise I'd say not
It's funny, the same thing happened to me when I first changed my carbon
paradigm for the Rivendell steel/fit paradigm, and now see myself
increasingly attracted to the Traveling Bike concept that is friendlier and
more versatile than the SS system which I've had in the past.
I had an SS coupled
