ront center as the Ram! All I need to do is to take my
Viking out for a ride and test toe overlap. It has 165mm cranks but 27"
wheels, pretty much same as having 170 cranks & 700c wheels. I am having
much fun with all this, the actual bike purchase is becoming a secondary
objective :
Thank you Keith! New food for thought, especially TCO. I shall measure my
bikes and study geo charts to try and deduce if Ram would have TCO.

I know all are
similar enough for me. More curious about sprightly-ness, since, you know,
sprightly-ness is not only a word but also a universal objective measure :)))

if I care :) This
bike is surprisingly lively and so much fun! It could be the honeymoon
affect but experience tells me if it's this fun on the first ride, it will
stay fun. Perfect bike to just ride.
Thanks Dave!

seatpost, put a
short cut bar piece thru the stem, and used an older hung-up bar bag. That
might be heavy, but way more solid than an unsupported caraddice style
saddle bag. I would like to replicate it one day.

I did not watch the movie but that has got to be Lon Haldeman.
See photos of him and that Quickbeam here:

Hi all,
Looking for a moustache bar & a dirt drop/periscopa type stem to go along.
Please contact me off the list if you have one or both. Stem has to have
26mm clamp diameter to match the handlebar, short reach (8cm?) preferred.
Thanks!

Dear group,
Any ideas how Quickbeam handles with wide tires, say 37mm & up?
I have been toying with the idea of a 2-speed commuter (with a double crank
& single cog, like featured in Rivendelll Reader) with wide 650b tires.
And then came David`s Quickbeam :)
Thanks!

Hi all,
My 3rd attempt in posting my first message.
Is 58cm Saluki identical to 58cm AHH in terms of frame geometry ?
Does anyone know if Saluki`s tubing feels significantly more flexible
and livelier than Surly LHT ?
Thanks in advance for any response.
