Hi Nancy, The Soma Xpress is my daily commuter tire on my AHH. It's not as wide and cushy as the Pari-Moto, but I've had no punctures on my commutes. The Xpress tires don't remove as much of the road "buzz" compared to Pari-Moto/Grand Bois tires, but does not feel in any way sluggish to me. I us

My Road has room for Pari motos at 38 mm and that's about it. I actually have Cypres on there now, and Pari Motos on an old UJB conversion. On Wed, Aug 28, 2013 at 4:52 PM, Tim Gavin wrote: > I recently converted my Rivendell Road to 650B x 38mm Grand Bois Lierre > (from 700C x 28mm Ruffy Tuffy)

I have the Compass 26" tires and would highly recommend Compass (Grand Bois) tires. They are amazingly cushy and fast. One flat in thousands of miles of riding. On Wednesday, August 28, 2013 1:53:50 PM UTC-4, Johnny Alien wrote: > > So Rivendell gave me Conti Tour tires on my new Sam. While they

I'm using the Conti Speed tires that Rivendell sells. Its hard to beat the Grande Bois tires that Compass sells, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Conti Speed tires. I think they measure out to be around 38mm, and fit my Homer nicely. I'm riding them on dirt roads and am happy with them. Wid

I've been riding Hetre's for my commute for about four months... knock on wood, no flats no issues whatsoever. Mostly just makes me wonder why I'd bother riding anything else. (hoping to find similar comfort/speed in the 700C range for my Atlantis). The tread wear has been pretty minimal and

There is some possibility that someday you'll see a Hetre Extra Leger in all black. There is a precedent: http://janheine.wordpress.com/2013/02/22/grand-bois-extra-leger-in-all-black/ If you want to go a little wider, maybe check out the Vee Rubber Speedster: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-VEE-RU
