Same deal for me - 5'10" - 86 pbh and I had a 58 Toyo built atlantis.
Personally, I never really liked the fit. It was
hard to let go of because it was such a beautiful bike, and did ride really
well. The reach was what got me in
the end. I had a similar issue with my quickbeam (58) - both of

You bought my Rosco Road, and know how it fit(s). I also have had a 58
Toyo Atlantis ramble through my stable and it fit splendidly. The reason a
58.5cm top tube give you pause is because it is coupled with a slacker seat
tube than most other bikes. On a Rivendell, if you are thinking
Kurt, I would base this on whether or not I was running 32 mm tires or 42+
mm tires. I had a 61 cm frame that was fine with 32 but if I wanted to
really use the generous tire clearance, the top tube was higher than

Hey Kurt. I also am 5’10 and ride a 58cm Toyo Atlantis. I’ve had the bike
for over a year now and I do agree with Riv’s fit suggestion. It is
probably the biggest frame I can handle without running into issues. I set
mine up with Tosco bars and a 110mm stem and it fits like a glove so flat
