I have a Sam with 700x38 Gravel King slicks. Pretty good, decent price. Smooth and snappy on pavement and fairly stable on gravel. Being over 200lbs, I'm hesitant to run them lower than mid 40s PSI, so I think at some point I'll switch to the Snoqualmies so I can run a lower PSI. Ben in Omaha

I'm going to retract my statement and say these XL Snoqualmie's are the bee's knees. They feel every bit as fast as the 28's but I can tell they won't beat me up as much when the mileage starts ticking. It should be noted that they're mounted on some very narrow Mavic Open 4 CD rims so they

Never measured the 27s and the bike they were on was stolen a few years back unfortunately. I'll have to check the 40s and get back to you. I've only very briefly ridden soma shikoros. They were nice too, though I have to say i didn't like them as much. They were on wildly different bikes though
