Chris... I'm intrigued by the custom adjusters from MT. What about the issue of loosening and retorqueing the 350 ftlb main pivot bolt? On Thu, Oct 15, 2020, 1:50 PM Chris Schaefer wrote: > I'd suggest reaching out to Travis at MT Solar as he has made custom > manual adjusters for my old instal

I’ve found that using brass nuts work well and don’t seize on the SS bolt. Just be sure to use a lock washer. It’s not like you need a lot of clamping force, the bolt is in pure shear so brass is fine. Jeremy Coxon NABCEP Certified MWBE Sent from my iPhone > On Oct 15, 2020, at 9:52 AM, Jere

Hi Jeremy, I’ve not run into that issue but you could put more bolts at different locations for different tilts. A template would keep them the correct spacing. Wouldn’t slide but would be adjustable. I don’t know if you’ve tried heat but it’s pretty amazing at getting things loosened up.

Does anyone have any trick to adjusting the tilt angle of the TPM4 pole mounts? These are the racks with the aluminum beam (strongback) with slots for the bolts. We have tried anti seize, and cutting the heads of the bolts square in attempts to help with adjustment. Help! Jeremy Rodriguez Sol
