The current text editor is not XHTML compliant. Is there an option on the preferences area for this setting. If you'll notice the are all upper case in the text placeholders and the all get converted to ... Any thoughts? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this

Yeah, the default text editor produces horribly invalid code, unfortunately. There are two options, neither of which I've personally followed up on: 1. Replace the standard text editor. Apparently, you can 'plug in' an alternative text editor, but only certain editors are supported. 2. Use tidy.

We use what Stefan has a the 2nd suggestion, we have also the tidy on and have severly restricted what can be done by basic web authors in the editing window. Turning of things like text alignment, character size, font, colour etc. It isn't perfect but it does a pretty good job and most of our p

Which version of RedDot are you using? We have the same issue running 7.5, but haven't upgraded to the latest version - waiting for the June release. It is my understanding that the default editor will be substantially better than those in the 7.x releases. Also, regarding the HTMLConvertTable.

Try to right click on text editor and see the view source. You will see that there will be a, tag added or   added in front of first record or list entry. Try removing that and again switch back to standard mode using right click on it. Hope you may see it correct. There is problem with bullet list
