I could hardly get it downloaded. I believe the installer needs work.
Windows installer works great installing everything in both of my computer
but I was able to just download Navigator with Java2 but nothing more. They
seems to put more focus on Windows than Linux. If so, why bother putting

Statux:
I had the same problem initially. Then I went to ftp.netscape.com and
downloaded a full installation copy of the NS6 (30MB). The installation was
very fast. However, still it does not run. when I run ./netscape, it comes
out with various error messages. I shall send another mail soon with

It could be a Winmodem in which case it's not the modem that's busy, but
rather it's just not finding anything that replies to (or is
available to reply to) modem commands (AT strings). Winmodems do not work with
Linux which would be why it's reported as busy.
Is the modem PCI? If yes, get an ISA

/usr/i386-glibc20-linux/lib directory. I had put that directory in my
/etc/ld.conf. This broke ncurses.

I found out what was happening.
In my /etc/bashrc, there is a line that goes like:
stty erase `tput kbs`
the tput kbs core dumps.
THis happened after I had installed my X-server. At least, I know why
things are not working and why there are core files all over the place.
On Mon, 20 Nov 2000,
/etc/ld.so.conf contains /usr/lib. libssl.so exists in /usr/lib (actually a
symlink to libssl.so.0.9.5a). I ran ldconfig anyways to update the live
library directory list. cyradm still bombs because IMAP.so cannot resolve
symbol SSL_write. So, at this point I am not even sure if the problem is
/etc/ld.so.conf contains all the directories that are searched for
libraries. Run 'ldconfig' after you change that file to update the live
library directory list.
Make sure that your libssl.so is in a directory which is listed in that
file.
Assuming you've traced everything back to that level ok

I am assuming that libssl.so is a shared library that is loaded when needed
by a program. Apparently IMAP.so used by the Cyrus administration program's
perl script calls a function named SSL_wr
Now that I have had considerable success with getting my HP Deskjet Printer
working with Linux (RedHat7.0), I wonder if there is a way to tell the
printer to provide
'proof' prints , normal prints, or extra quality prints.??

parallel port vs USB and the proper selection of the printer using 'printtool'.
