This is what I get when I change root's password to "beroot".
[root@munshine /root]# passwd
New UNIX
I just installed RH 7.2 and I selected Grub and the boot loader, I have
never used Grub before and am stuck at a grub prompt when I turn the pc on.
How do I load Linux and get to a command shell as a user or as root.

I downloaded de gtk yahoo, but it goes directly to connect when I start it
up and I do not see an option to specify a proxy server.

I am trying to set up a serial printer (Okidata Microline 182 Plus) under
RedHat 7.3 and am not having much luck...maybe somebody out there has a few

Ge Force MX 400 works perfectly in my athlon setup running redhat 7.2. I have
even got my creative DVD drive working with Xine DVD player ( ;-) for which i
bugged many people here ). I have some Intel P4 cpu s running on via chipset
properly. So go for it !!! give it a try.
