There is no standard way to uninstall software installed via make. You have to
look at the makefile. There may be a make target the removes the software. If
not, you could do a 'make install' again and save the output to a file so you
can figure out what needs to be removed.

Running xcdroast I get the errow message that the SCSI bus couldn't be

At the bottom I'm enclosing a couple of files that I've seen getting
stuck (e.g. line 412 of macro.c and line 13 of dtrim.c). Needless

and not what it needs to be. when i turn off identd
it shows up right but it is not sending an ident reply.

it had an ssh2d_config where i could allow what ip's
i wanted to let in. on the new 7.3 all i see is ssh.

two places -
at a command prompt, type in free -m
which will give you a short table of recognized and used/free memory
at a command prompt, type in dmesg
which will scroll the startup messages - near the top should be a listing of memory
found.
