Did you get the ibcs version that matches your kernel version exactly
(including RedHat release numbers)?

Hey Everyone,
Having a problem and hoping someone can help me out. I have a
Redhat 7.1 server and trying to run an application that my predecessor
had running on Redhat 6.2. The error I'm getting is "can't execute
binary files". Tech support informed me to install iBCS. Great. So I

Need some help with a scsi tape
drive. Installed a Seagate Python on a Redhat 7.1 server. The tape drive was pulled over from an
older 6.2 server. The system seems
to see it fine and the tape is shown in the /proc/scsi/0
file. At first the tape was just
hanging when I tried to rewind in

I never got any responses to my scsi
tape question but maybe someone can answer this for me. During boot up when Linux checks for new
hardware its supposed to go into a configuration
screen when it finds something. I
put a scsi tape drive in and when it got to checking for
new hardware it
This may be the second time I posted so sorry if you see
this twice. I installed a Seagate
Python scsi tape drive into a Redhat 7.1 server. The tape was pulled from an older 6.2
server. The system sees the tape
drive and is shown in the /proc/scsi/0 file. Although it never went
