Hello,
I just got my linux box hooked up
to a cablemodem. When my isp reissues an IP, I would like my computer to
detect this and rerun iptables. The linux box
is both my firewall and router for my LAN.
Please help. Thanks

I was just wondering if anyone has managed to get
windows messenger "talk" or "whiteboard" to work
behind a router running iptables?

I want to mount a samba share so that userA has full
read and write access. For userA, the uid is 500 and
the gid is 100. I issued the following command:
mount -t smbfs -o

When I check the user and group for /mnt/x (ls -l

issued the following command from the client:
ssh -v remove_computer -p 23
The logins are the same on both computers. I receive
a message stating that the connection was established.

I have sendmail working and since I have a dial-up

this an inherent problem with masquerades or have I
