I set up two RH9 boxes.
I found that both of them have host name "localhost.localhostdomain".
I tried to use Samba but Samba only found PC running Windows.
I just want to copy files from one RH9 to another. How can do that?

Is there anything special that I need to do for activating the pop3 server
on redhat 6.1. I enabled it in inet.conf but when I use outlook express to
read the mail, I got an error message: "you server has unexpected
terminated the connection" . It worked fine with redhat 5.1. Any

I just installed redhat6.1. I'm surprised to find that anybody who doesn't
have root privalage can shutdown the system by typing shudown from the
command line. They will be prompted for the password and all they have to
do is to type in their own password and then the shutdown process begin.

station, the login program making about 200 tcp connections to ypbind.
