RPM macros.db1 file?

I upgrade to the latest rpm 4.0.2 and I notice that the file /etc/rpm/macros.db1 no longer exists. It is replaced with a file called /etc/rpm/macros.specspo However, an rpm -qlp on the new rpm file show that /etc/rpm/macros.db1 resides in the new rpm-4.0.2 archive but when upgraded does not

I just installed RH 7.0. I ran the configuration program for RH network and it looks as if my machine has been sent to RH yet I get a dialog box which says: Problem Registering Username. Which means I still can't use RHN. :-(( I also noticed that the process seems to take a long time.
