I just came back from KSU, where I got some nice plastic coated sheets with
basic instructions for Linux, HTML, JAVA, etc.. I *guess* they have a web
page where you can order them, but I will let know as soon as I get home (4
hours...).

Hi!
I asked about the same some months ago. I bought the Happy Hacking keyboard,
and I would say it is very convenient if you work in a real UNIX like
environment. Works excellent with Emacs, Lynx, and some other of the "real
stuff". Cumbersome maneuvers? Well, trying to change to another virutal
Depends on what you call "old". I am running even 6.2 in a 486 with 24
MB RAM. And 5.0 & 5.2 will definitely do. No problem with Y2K.

Well, although we have been able to identify the procedence of the previous
names (most of them related to TV series), the relationship between them is

Monitors need plenty
Hi!
I want to get a Sun Workstation (second hand). I plan using it as an
engineering workstation, mostly CAD and math software. As I have never used
one before, I have some basic questions.
I looked some on the net, but I did not seem to see any with CD-ROM and/or
floppy. Can this workstations w
Ok. Well, I got a wonderful 486/66, 24MB that runs X wonderfully with a
small window manager (Icewm).
I have another box that I assembled from old stuff in my closet: AMD
5x86 (100 MHz), 8MB of RAM, and 3.2 GB of hard disk (I was using a 541
with no trouble). RH 6.2 does not install on this mach
