Hi Mike,
I upgraded from 5.2 to 6.0 and found it did not work as smooth as I had
hoped and ended up donig a fresh install. Then I went from 6.0 to 6.2 and
the redhat upgrade was excellent. I did a kernel recompile and was back in
business in no time. I don't recall any passwd or shadow issues

Just set up a small network at home. Works well. One thing that is curious
is that when I run Xsession on my win95 box (using exceed) I get messages
like this on my RedHat box:
eth0: tx interrupt but no status
Everything works ok but I'm curious as to what this message might mean.
Thanks

Have I missed anything? Will this work?
Thanks for any suggestions

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody out there has had any dealing with the RedHat
Support system. I purchased RedHat 5.0 about three weeks ago and have had
absolutley no luck getting them to honor their product support. I've done
everything except drive to their head office and beat the snot out
. I'm sure I'll have him singing the praises about this system and
maybe I'll be able to show the MIS crew a thing or two.
My question is: where do I begin? Are their some good docs online
somewhere that will help me get started? Any help will be appreciated.
Later,
Mike Butler
