I don't know about plugins for Netscape, but I just installed MozillaFirebird and it ask if I wanted xpdf to open the pdf file to view with out setting up anything. It also blocked pop ups and comes with a windows and linux version and has an easy place to clear cookies, etc in the options. I've on
