i had to specify the i/o address and irq for the card. ive had no
problems with the 8390 and ne modules, other than the need to tell
ne the io and irq.

The problem is probably that you have to give the kernel (or the module)
the irq and io adress , try to figure that out. then you could have a look
at the archive of beginning of last week as soon as its on the web there
was some diskussion about how to configure a ne2000. it works on k

I can't get past the network card driver screen with RedHat 5.1 because
it won't recognise my ne2000 card (works OK in 4.1)
I just read on deja News that this is because the ne2000 driver won't
work as a module and is not compiled into the 5.1 kernel.
Can anybody suggest a workaround, other
