with the rpm install and am glad of it. ...No pain, no strain. I am
typing this message from
communicator so needless to say it worked w/o a hitch; even have it set
up
to bypass the m$ proxy server so it will now hit the

Avoid tarballs whenever possible, and use RPM if you want to just use
software without having to wade through the source code. Read the section
on RPM in your Red Hat User's Guide, which an online version is available
