ok, so it's "correct". Well, I don't really like that - I want it to show
the real deal, I.E. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
What do I need to do to send that?

Yup, in my experience with Linuxconf, you have to put the FQDN in both places:
Hostname: and Primary name + domain name:. Doesn't agree with docs, but
that's what it took to work for me. YMMV.
