Correct. The Static Buster adds but 1/4 inch of 'metal' to the element in the form of the attachment screw. This added 1/4 inch of metal to the outer diameter of the element loop doesn't disturb the resonance, especially on anything including UHF and below. Sure, 1/4 inch is a big deal on

And the design is one of the best methods for this type antenna. Antennex has also lifted the feed method for some uhf beams I've seen. Look for other antenna mfgrs to start using the same feed method over time. Lots of bandwidth, true dc ground, simple construction and a low relative cost.
