hi all,
Not sure where it orginated, but no joy is often used to say what we did did
not work, hi. It is used basically to say the results we were looking for did
not.
Now no Joy might mean we did not find Joy where we thought she would be.

I always thought it had to do with Casey at bat... as there was no joy in
Mudville when the Mighty Casey struck out.

Good Afternoon,
We are putting up a 440 repeater antenna with over 100watts
and we are looking at putting a yagi directional 440 below it.
What is the rule of thumb for seperation required, 15feet of 20?
Thanks

I have a Garmin GPSMap 76 CSx and I love it. I just upgraded from a
eTrex Legend and the difference in technology is huge. I am a member
of a SAR team and about 10 of my teammates have a version of the
GPSMap 76 and all love it as well.

Hi,
I have a GE master 2 base that I am converting to a repeater. I did
the conversion
from the repeater builders web, but I still have a problem. My recieve

when the repeater transmits. For a minute second it wants to squeel,
then it only transmits with

Got for sale a CAT-200B repeater controller. Its in used but great
condition, it was bought for a repeater proyect and used a few times
only. I have the user manual, hardware *(except for the db-25
connector which is attach to a repeater) but you can get cheap anywhere
and the controller.

Clyde,
You need to check where you attached the PTT. The GE base has several PTT
points, (remote, repeater, local, combined) depending on the jumpers on the
10 volt card (from 1 to 9 and 2 to 3 I think) the rx mute will turn off the
receiver when you transmit / PTT. Its all signaled from the 10
Jerry, I've modified a couple by changing the connectors and had no
problems. I'm traveling right now and will not be back home for another
month. If you can wait, I can provide the correct part numbers for the
connectors and a source of supply (not Motorola). I just don't have the

A few years ago I undertook to replace our old 300 baud telemetry
system at VE3RPT with something a little more modern, and bought a
POCSAG encoder and ordered some xtals for our command frequency and an
old Motorola pager. Somewhere along the way, I lost the pager! I
recently found a Motorola
Isn't that the same thing? :-) Mike

Has anyone ever done this before on a RC210 before? Any special
resistor / cap. combos needed? There is 5v on the tx line.
Unfortunately my test bed here at home is a MCC GE Mastr Exec II with
the RC100 built in. Don't think it would be the same as the site
repeater with the RC210.
