Go to the files section and there is a file there "Andrew bulletin 37383C.pdf"
that is the instruction sheet for connectors.

I have 3 of them, One has HT-90 crystal controlled units inside. The other
2 are GP-300 and can be programmed. It is a bit of a hassle, as I do not
have whatever is the proper interface, so I took the units out and popped
them into gp300 cases and programmed them, then put them back into the

Huh? Since when is a GP300 not type accepted for GMRS? News to me, but I

I have to agree with Chris, this is a technical group; the legalities should
not be of concern here. (Unless maybe someone asks for info) I f you are in
car dealership, do you ask everyone that is buying a car if they have a
drivers license? Unless there is a specific reason then why does everyone
end, so I don't have to worry if the radio has UHF or N
connectors on them.

It's refreshing to see someone use proper radioman terminology these
days. The term MORT is falling into oblivion these days.

de for the same control
capabilities any normal repeater would have as discussed at length in this
thread, you can sit in your car and control the radio, but you CANNOT put
your mobile radio in crossband mode and walk away from it.

Can anyone clarify if a radio can be used to crossband from 2 meters to say

Were they PL-259 connectors on the jumper. An 'N' connector is self-
grounding with the inside ring around the center pin. I don't see how
teflon tape on the threads would hurt due to the self grounding
feature unless he got the tape into the connector.
