Most of the older auto alternators with external voltage regulator are Three
phase & at 2000 RPM will put out about 100 Volts at 100 Hertz If you by pass
the rectifiers & put a full 12 volts to Field . Amperage according to size

If you are I the USA you can sometimes find towers cheap from former or old CBer’s that no longer use them sometimes just to take them down

Anything wrong with a simplex repeater for emergency use at about 10 to 25
watts no duplexer needed just set up ant mobile radio with controller and on
the air takes some getting use to but would do in emergency . Most hams
radios can go out of band so could set up on freq needed .( with Permission

I just plug in heater in late fall and unplug in early spring. Can buy heater for water can from southern states or other feed store , But same type heater fastened to bottom of small engine.
