I am trying to fix the Icom 220 repeater for VE3RPT. I have a duff 2SK125.
Icom parts says it is discontinued. Other suppliers don;t list it. Has
anybpody any experience with this, and is there a cross? (NTE doesn't have it
listed)
Thanks fer any hlp es 73,

Very interesting theory. I am teaching SWR at present to my third
year college students. Could be a good discussion point since they
have already studied power factor. However, SWR can exist with a
purely resistive mismatched load, so it needs a bit of modification to
take all into account.

is marked 1988 Uniden PD-393AA. The
Motorola final transistor - MRF646 and some surface mount caps in the
collector circuit are blown.
Any help would be appreciated.

Within any 6 MHz channel, there can be up to four program channels.
Except if one channel is HDTV 1080i,then there is only enough
bandwidth for two other channels. I suppose if a station is cheap
enough not to buy the equipment, they would still use the full 6Mz
bandwidth for one channel, which,
This is the basis for our interconnects in the new design for the
Toronto Repeater Controller. It has been working just fine for a
while in test but not on site (software not yet written :-( ). We do
not change the ends, however, rather we have built adapters for the
radio end to go to the radio
We have been having a similar problem here in Toronto on 224.86. The
frequency has been in use for years but recently we have been finding
carriers on the output. Many have suggested we put a PL on VE3RPT but
that is avoiding the issue. One member has observed that they seem

end up in a heap of trouble for programming them,
if so.
Couldn't find any info on the Micsale radios, and Google warns that the
Micsale website may damage your computer.

In return for letting us stay on top of the hill where we are, our
landlord, a ski club, has asked us to program some Micsale MS889 and
Kirisun PT3500 radios onto their ski patrol frequencies.
Does anybody have any information, manuals, programming software or
RIBs for these units or know how to
Larry, Gord VE3HKE used subaudible tones to limit access to the
autopatch on VE3TTY. I still have mine! It was a Ferrotronics unit
that was adjusted with a pot, definitely not programmable!
I seem to remember that was around 1972/73, not much later because the
autopatch went into VE3RPT in 1974
Advisor pager p/n A04KLB5662AA and was
wondering if anybody out there has tech data on this, specifically if
it is POCSAG and what the xtal formula is? Apparently the menus can
also be programmed, does this use some kind of a RIB?
any help would be appreciated
