Well the specific one is from a CDM750 but I think most operate in
the same basic manner. It isn't so much an exact schematic I need but
a basic operation diagram. Motorola supplies about +5V on the mic
line and the mic element is also connected throgh the PTT switch
somehow.

I dont know if this is what you are running into or not, but we ran
into the same thing when attempting to use the Motorola Maxtrac/Radius
series with an external controller. We use the ones without the 16 pin
accy connector because they can be had very reasonably. All
connections are thru the fr
