The message Srebri is referring to is a hoax or virus itself (at least it looks this way). It's getting harder and harder to distinguish what is real and what is not especially in the virtual reality world. For example this message could be hoax as well and I am not sure there is an easy cure

Why would some one put instructions in the attached file and not in the email text itself, especially when the attached file is not a text file? And the message was sent to the whole mailing list. That was obviously an attempt of social engineering to trick you to open that file. I have received a
