Hi Alessio
That bug report confirmed here in 2.10.3.
You can't mass select and EDITEDIT CARTS to a different group in
RDLibrary, as existing YEAR metadata on all carts transitioned is lost
and field is left empty.

Hi,
mount -a will remount the fstab entries. What you're getting here is
that it is having trouble with the nfs mount point.
Can you copy/paste the /etc/fstab file here?
If you use ssh you should be able to copy directly from the terminal/putty

True enough, I think I'm missing part of the conversation where someone
told him to do a mount -t nfs, I figured it must have been in the fstab
(it isn't).
If you can't do:
sudo mount -t nfs serverip:/path/to/snd /var/snd
e.g.
sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.1.100:/var/snd /var/snd
Then you need
Hey guys,
we're trying to set up a 24/7 recording of our program with rdcatch - but
it doesn't work by now.
We created events of the lenght of our shows, so there are some 2 hour
recording events and a few three our recording events.
What happens is that the three hour recording events do not
Hello Daniel,
You may find that this is a problem due to the maximum file size for a .wav
file. A better solution may be to run a simple command line utility like
rotter.

hi,
The server seems to be sharing.
If you do this on the client:
sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.1.253:/var/snd /var/snd
If it completes with no errors/messages it means its working.
If it errors, what does it say?

Thank you for all your time and patience I appreciate that you were all very

Hi Daniel
I tried the same about a year ago and the recordings were always a
little different by 10 - 20 seconds. I gave up and used a different
program for logging audio.

I guess my first question..why do you want to record 24/7?
If you want to re-air shows, you'd likely want to record smaller
segments, like an hour..
If you want to log your programming, there are less troublesome, and
smaller, simpler ways to do that...
and logging on Rivendell is simply going

Hi Eugene,
not sure it wil help (and maybe Fred wil point me as a sinner) but try to
do the following.
- Suppose in /etc/rd.conf in the identity lines you have user: rivendell
and audiogroup: rivendell
- Then for all caed, ripcd, rdcatchd, jackd launch this as root (in this
order):
chown
I have a streaming server running darkice into icecast which has a
script running on it that records 1 hour segments which get labelled and
saved in a dropbox. [audiologs] It provided 24/7 logging, and some hours
get pulled out and replayed after some editing.
No interruption to the stream.
Hello!

qt3 from the AUR, but I get the following error when running the command
