So, they must've done a fair bit of work to get the hardware working with
Rockbox. They really should be complying with the GPL.
The other question is: Is this device any good? I am constantly looking for a
replacement for my sansa clip as I'm sure it's going to die soon (this is my
4th!)

Brilliant read! I've been using rockbox from the start...still have my
original Archos but the headphone socket has gone bad. Added a 100G HD to
it too. I just use it on my Sansa Clip now...of which I have about 5

To: mat_mirabe...@yahoo.com; Rockbox
the fuse plus port is still unstable but I wanted to report this in
case someone knows about the problem - it may be something that has been seen
in previous builds and it may be an easy fix.
Mat.
I'm announce it with some delay cause I didn't know about this tradition
till now.
The first time HM-601 played was on the 10.10.2011, but playback speed was
little bit accelerated.
The first time DAP played with normal speed was 13.10.2011.
The first track was Abney Park - The End of Days.

Agreed. Though I would recommend getting the 8Gig model and a 32Gig
microsd card. It's nice to have 40Gig of music.
The only issue is the very small screen size because I find it difficult
to read without my glasses.
I've found my Clip+ does everything I need (and more unless you want
things

I would really like to see this player functional (since my iriver
broke,
I've missed my colour screen!)
The tip jar (paypal account) is always open. :-)

Sounds eminently reasonable to me.

Hello,
I really want to convert the spectrum .tzx codec that is available for
the iPod linux project to Rockbox.
It allows spectrum game files to be outputed as audio. Totally cool, no
need for a tape recorder to load speccy games.
Has any other iPod linux codec been converted?
