When you open the file do you use FILE-OPEN or do you use IMPORT?
Also to auto load a file use the SETUP-GENERAL-STARTUP screen to define
the file to load.
As for the email, is that within the body of the mail? If so check the
body part within the setup and/or the alerts you defined.

I am trying out the free version of Servers Alive, and am having a few
problems. Perhaps some readers here could help me?
- I seem to be unable to save the entries...I click on save, and I am
prompted for a filename. I provide one, and it seems to save, but when I
restart SA, it does not auto
Well, what if you saved and reloaded the same information you're writing to the table
now? I'm not sure how you calculate that data internally. That would allow for the
cumulative totals to keep increasing. But that would hide the fact that there was a
period of time that the checks weren't done

Then just for the test at some point stop SA (the app) and restart the
app, load the hostfile again and restart the checking
And tell me if that does

The stats log is an exception type log - just tracks when a server goes
down. Therefore, if it isn't in the stats log, the server is up during that
time.
The way I do it in my reporting script.
Foreach line in stat log
- if new status is up
- if old status was maintenance then ad
Again that's not the question

how about setting up a print that prints to a file. When you send a job to it it
should then pop up and ask you for the filename. Create it as a Generic Text Only and
