Didn't you miss in the format of the machine username ?
It should have a backslash (\) between them and not a forwardslahs (/)
So: MyComputer\saliveuser and not MyComputer/saliveuser

For a good telnet processor,
Please check the macro language of Tera Term Pro. Also includes a SSH
option.

from 1998, but this program really ROCKS !)
Realy cool. Supports exitcodes..

Title: Split Salive in a frontend and a backend
Hi Dirk,
This questions looks simple but I guess it is going to be a huge work.
Is it possible to split Salive in a Frontend GUI and a backend NON-Gui.
The backend is the service part that does the checking, and totally independent of the f
ll. If you need the see the gui while
running as service make sure you use the sysem account with desktop interaction.

How about running SA on a machine behind each firewall? They could each
upload their reports to a centralized server since they can get out.

Hi, I have this issue.
I'm administrator of several small networks. all protected by firewalls.
therefore it is not always possible to check the servers behind that firewall.
My idea is a little program that runs on remote servers, and that sends signals to the
SA server. This way, I don't have
to reduce the number of alerts.

Hi,
As fas as I can see, you can select only one service or process to be checked for one
server.
If i want to check more, i have to add the server several times in the list.
Is there a way to add a list of services that one task must check ?
Or is this a feature for the next release ?
