Hello,
I need to do a sort of “find/replace” on my SA check list
in a few areas as we are doing some changing in our teams organizations which
has caused me to delete one group and create several more users which are in
different groups. Now I need to go and change who gets the respons

Hey Dirk,
We do bandwidth using QoS on our network currently. Not much interest here for that.

Windows services has the functionality to restart the service if it stops
working and reboot if the issue continues. This is what we use and it seems
to work fine.
Also, you can get a 10 node or less free copy of SA to monitor the monitor.

Other than snubbing Servers Alive (the best monitoring product hands down),
here are my "top 10" things that seemed a little weird about the survey:

I dunno, I thought the parody was cleverly

Sometimes there are security

Can be done using perfmon (nt based) or snmp (nt and others).

Dirk, is there a way to directly monitor windows memory utilization, swap
file, processes either by MB or %? It would be interesting to get an alert
if a memory utilization of a server gets too high.
Not sure if this is easily possible or not.

Just as a follow up, we replaced the generic
modem we had with a new USR modem. The page tests work every time
now. Not sure why the other modem wasn't paging properly but we seem to
have it all working which is all that matters.
Thanks for the help,
