All checks that are internal and are using some DLL could eventualy hang IF the DLL isn't using it's timeout's correctly. (already the first issue is IF the dll knows what a timeout is). One option is to re-write all checks as external checks, but personaly I don't think that's a good way to go.

The auto save changes is only done when quiting the app, that's correct. Dirk. Most of Woodstone's staff is currently on holiday, however support checks mail a couple of times a day (over a slow link). This does mean that we are not able to do all "normal" support tasks. We will be back, in full
