Hi every one,
I had a phone call this evening from a friend who has a shed (actually
I think it's a shipping container) containing a large amount of Sam
spares.
This all has to go.
Rather than take it down to the tip or re-cycling centre he would
rat
A couple of disk controllers would be great and maybe a sound chip or 2
Great find tho

still cant run 128 stuff and as for rzx or +d hacker fatchance!
Well as the paging system for SAM was never designed to be 128K
compatible, and the +d hacker used shadow ram on the plus D
interface.. that may explain why it isn't so easy

doesnt z8 have 4096 registers?
woudl that be better for 3d vector stuff or doesnt it work like that?
20mhz but more like r800 performance no?

Hee hee - Roger - you really should read the thread before replying !!
I started the thread with a link to some auctions for SAM Software (now
sold), and the statement:
"I also have 7 SAM formatted floppies free to a good home (for the cost
of postage) - they have various hand written labels
sorry what software? there isn't any for sam is there?!
I'm still trying to get a 48 emulator that can run code from 32768 in
Sam's external ram!

Hi Roger,
I received the stamps (thankyou) but your letter did not refer to the
software - do you want me to send this software to you and you can have
a look (was that the plan?)

I have listed a few bits of SAM hardware and software on sellmyretro.com -

Hi Thomas,
Yes, SellMyRetro.com is its own auction system, similar to eBay but
without the extortionate listing and final value fees.
You can of course send messages on the system and so long as I know that
people want me to hold onto items for them at the end of the auction, I
