the exact same commands on a machine running Ubuntu with cut
(GNU coreutils) 7.4, I get the desired output: abc|xyz. The same problem
occurs with larger data files that I was trying to manipulate as well.

Hi Connie and Troy,
kernel-headers-2.6.18-194.17.1.el5.i386.rpm
missed in the latest announce and on the repository too.
It doesn't break yum update but could be a problem
for building third-party modules.

Best regards,

for this kernel should be included
in the update too.

Does anyone know the workaround for this problem ?

and how to
correct the problem.
Please, could someone provide me with hints to solve the problem? I need
32bit Firefox because of Java, etc. I wasn't successful with 64bit Firefo
x
for my applications.
Thanks.

Hello,
using our local mirror, i've faced a problem in yum upgrade.
It's look like, there are outdated repodata/primary.xml.gz
? It seems to me,
this is a problem in yum code.
I'll try to reproduce the case when first baseurl have
a problem w/ primary.xml.gz but second isn't.
Thanks

Unfortunately, yes, it's still the same

Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from sl-errata: [Errno 256] No

I've tried to recreate repodata locally and this is solved the problem
in our own local mirror.

Hi,
seems to me, there is some problem in propagation an errata to
SL47 dirs tree, as the latest libxml2-* does not appears here,
but it is in 4x only, x7.

for the fact that sysrescuecd used this driver and it
also has a 2.6 kernel.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks
Just remove HWADDR line from ifcfg-eth0, it's not required.
