Like most people who were blown away by the first season of Heroes, I
thought season two was just horrible. I just saw the fall preview video
clip and I think the creator of the show wants to redeem his reputation and
that he might just do it.
Check it out and let me know what you think
Previous to the first season of Heroes, I had been waiting for a show like
this all my lifeSeason One finale was a big downer...

I am always amazed at how critics are so wrapped up in their own
critic-ness that they forget what they are watching.
Star Wars IS a Saturday morning serial. That was the whole idea. The FANS
turned it into something serious and philosophical. It is a saturday
morning science-fiction series
hilarious!

I feel you on the my bad tip. I remember the first time I heard the
term back in the early nineties when the young black man I was

Too bad to hear this, but ihad a sneaking suspicion that Gendy Tartokovky's great "Clone Wars" animated shorts would set the high standard this movie couldn't live up to.
Truthfully, the best of Star Wars work has been either directed and/or written by someone other than Lucas.

I had a friend that lived in Barcelona and loved it as well.
Apparently there is a lot of anti-African sentiment due to

The fact that the storylines wrapped up too easily and that the finale was
something out of a bad DC comic from the 70's...oh and lets throw in the
fact that dudes brother had to fly him to the sky to save the people when
Pete had flying powers

Never heard of this flick, but there's a movie called Batman: Mystery of
Batwoman on Cartoon Network right now. Batman encounters Batwoman, the
African-American daughter of a crime boss who I think is a vigilante herself.
The movie was made in 2003, and features most of the original voice
I thought season one finale was good. At that point, Peter had really mastered
his mimic ability had hey? Had he even flown consciously before that, other
than the time he floated with his brother? And even then, he was going

As always, you make good points. I can concede what you say, which is one
reason I don't count myself a true Star Wars fan. I like it as entertaining
scifi, but i'm not a devotee, the way I am of Star Trek or Babylon 5. And it's
exactly because of what you said: Lucas crafted a tale that's more
While I did not think season one was crappy, I really can't refute
much else of what you say except one important point. Heroes took
massive losses when it came to viewership. So much so, they canceled
all spin-off plans even though it had a time slot, the cast was hired,
some scripts were
They played this alot on HBO when I was in Mexico. I liked it

Don't forget there was a writers strike going on and a lot of shows
didn't end up like anything during that time or got cut short, or had
to wrap up quickly. The effects of which we are still feeling
today..i.e. no Harry Potter movie this year

Oh. I got rid of HBO, Showtime, etc., several years ago, so missed it. I hadn't
noticed it in the store, but wasn't looking very hard. Wonder if something like
this would be available on Netflicks? I'm looking into getting that Roku unit.
But I really, really want a good source for the decades
True! Funny!
