Well, not necessarily learn to shoot as the Number Two Man in the military,
IMO. Learn to shoot if you plan on taking your gun out the front door, yes.

Rather than apologize, Cheney should make amends... if he knows what
making amends means. (I hope that he does 'cause W doesn't.) What one

I think he should apologize, and I agree, that is one thing this
administration finds difficult in doing.
With that said, does the appology have to be public or to the victim
privately. Who is to say he hasn't done that? If it is public,
than he is not appologing to the victim but to the gene
I don't think accidentally shooting someone is necessarily an
impeachable offense. Like all things the answers to the riddle depend
on the situations and variables involved.
That said, I think there are a couple of issues at play here that are
not really being addressed by the Cheney apologists. F
You overestimate. Texas. Seven bucks, according to ABC News, and the check's

Understood.
Shooting someone isn't breaking the law so long as the bullets are
small. If no one complains, it's fine to leave them in the hospital
and eat dinner. Got it. Politics are more important than humanity to
you and the fact that I disagree and talk about somehow makes me wrong.

Let me be clear. I'm saying that if you are second in command of a
military force, you should LEARN how to shoot a gun. It's not
automatic. But if part of your job is potentially sending young
men and women to their deaths, then you should know what you're
dealing with. Accidents happ
I agree that more is being made of this than necessary. It's not an impeachable
offense by any stretch of the imagination. The only thing it did for me, aside
from a quick chuckle, was to remind me why I never engaged in the practice of
hunting. The beasts without guns have a slightly better cha

Well.. by your "logic" the Lewinsky-gate should have stayed private,

Mrs. Clinton didn't file for divorce and neither Lewinsky nor

I don't believe in left or right, but I do know that being shot is no
