KELWYN: I learn something new every day. Someone at my job says that
phrase “Wherever you go, there you are” all the time. I thought he
made it up. Obviously, he didn’t cite his source. ;D I guess some
things are generational, because I’ve never heard of or seen “Buckaroo
Bonzaii.” But it’s nice
Michelle, I'm not terribly feeling the need for The Karate Kid remake
either. I posted a thread yesterday about H'Wood stealing our pop culture
for the sake of a dollar, and this dovetails nicely into it. And I've heard
that The Last Dragon is in the pipeline as well.

It was a simple fix

It was a simple fix: the valedictorian could have simply said the comedian
Patton Oswald tells a story that I believe is apropos here -
I guarantee he would gotten the same life from friends

Keith,
I think you and I are pretty close in age and it seems amazing that there are
grown ups that have no frame of reference for some pop culture
It was a simple fix: the valedictorian could have simply said the comedian

I guarantee he would gotten the same life from friends and families that had
not heard the joke yet.
I admit I don't always site the source. I have been
rave -- isn't it scary to think that one of the Young Minds who are supposed
to be leading us onward couldn't make that simple correction?
