OK guys, I was wondering if someone could give me a definitive answer to
the age-old question about which turbo-rated transaxles actually had the
lockup torque converters. Can a non-turbo lockup tranny be upgraded
easily? If so, what is involved? I have a line on a '92 TBI tranny
from a Spirit.

don't have one. That is a normal part of the T2 electronics. The flooding

have the 1 pc intake it's fairly easy to pull them and have them
It sounds like you have 2 problems going on. For the stuttering problem, I
would start with a visual check on ignition system, loko at the plugs also.
And check fuel pressure. Check all underhood electrical connections also.
I'd put my money on fuel pressure, most likely pump, as a first
i think if you specify '89 daytona ES you should get the correct
rotorbut i'm not positive.
bring an old one along if that's an option.

I'm not sure about 89, But the newest V6 ES's would have the same rotors.
I had an 89 ES that didn't have the big brakes but have heard the newers ones
do.

swapping it back to 5 speed. I doubt he wants the auto parts we removed, I will

him when he gets home next week. He would probably sell you
Picked up an 1986 Omni GLH 2.2 turbo, was wondering if anybody was looking
for one. It's silver, the body is pretty clean, doesn't need much work.
Interior is ok. Needs a tranny. There is a hole in this one. Make me a worth
while offer, and I might deliver a little ways.
